Role description
- Serve as the primary point of contact for IT support, addressing user inquiries via phone, email, chat, or ticketing systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and system issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide step-by-step guidance to users, assisting in problem resolution and ensuring issues are documented for future reference.
- Escalate complex technical issues to second- or third-level support teams when necessary to ensure quick resolution.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of issues, resolutions, and service requests within the IT service management system.
- Assist in user account management, including password resets, access requests, and permissions changes.
- Offer basic training and guidance to users on IT best practices, ensuring they have the necessary tools to use technology effectively.
- Follow established processes and contribute to the improvement of the internal knowledge base.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies, security guidelines, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Support IT asset management by tracking and maintaining hardware and software inventory to ensure efficient use of resources.
