Overview
Position: IT Support Specialist (SOFTWARE ,HARDWARE , NETWORKING, DIGITAL MARKETING)
Location: Ahmedabad, GJ (onsite)
Role Overview:
The IT Support Specialist will play a key role in managing day-to-day IT operations and providing technical support for employees. This role ensures smooth functioning of hardware, software, and network systems while troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support:
- Provide first-level IT support to employees via in-person, calls, or remote assistance.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Assist users with basic queries related to software tools (e.g., MS Office, MS Teams, Remote Desktop).
- System Maintenance:
- Install, update, and configure software applications and operating systems.
- Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure system efficiency.
- Monitor system backups and ensure data security.
- Network Support:
- Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi).
- Coordinate with the IT vendor for critical network and server issues.
- Asset Management:
- Track and maintain IT inventory, including laptops, desktops, software licenses, and accessories.
- Facilitate timely hardware upgrades and replacements.
- Security & Compliance:
- Ensure systems adhere to security protocols and data privacy policies.
- Monitor antivirus, firewall settings, and endpoint security.
- Report and document any IT-related breaches or vulnerabilities.
- User Training & Documentation:
- Assist in onboarding new employees by setting up IT systems and credentials.
- Create user manuals and provide basic IT training for employees.
- Collaboration:
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for IT requirements and system updates.
- Liaise with external vendors for technical assistance as needed.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years in IT support or similar role.
- Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office Suite, and Remote Desktop tools.
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
