Job overview:
This position is responsible for applying technical expertise to the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of ZwickRoell IT systems in India. This includes laptops for employees as well as the systems used by employees. Areas of responsibility include installation and commissioning, server, network analysis, system administration, security and information assurance, IT audit, database administration, and help desk support for all ZwickRoell India users in direct coordination with the headquarters IT department. This position will also support Asian countries as a backup for IT requirements.

Job Responsibilities
- Planning and implementation of networks with a security concept. Support of production networks
- Independent implementation and support of projects in the area of system integration (server, storage, virtualization environment, data backup, etc.)
- Further development and operation of network systems (LAN, WLAN, VPN)
- Monitoring and troubleshooting in the areas of WAN, LAN, firewall, VPN
- Responsibility for the technical operation and design of the virtual infrastructure in the Hyper-V.
- Support of complex and fail-safe network infrastructures
- Planning, installation, and operation of on-premise components (servers, storage, virtualization, Microsoft servers, and data backup) and cloud environments (Azure, M365, etc.)
- Centralized deployment and management of PC with Ivanti DSM or Intune.
- Windows Server Administration (Windows Server 2019 and newer).
- Manage Daily/Regular System backups and maintenance, Network hardware and software maintenance and upgrades as required.
- To resolve helpdesk incidents within the Service Level Agreement in the ticket system.
- Manage inventory of IT assets, Budget planning & procurement for IT investments.
- Manage vendors for repair and maintenance of IT equipment.
- Provide support to all employees for all IT-related issues. Other projects assigned by IT HQ.
- Support as backup and travel to Asian countries for IT infrastructure requirements.
- Implementation of IT (security) concepts, partly on-site at company locations (travel - 20%)
Education, Experience & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information technology/computer science
Experience
- 5+ years related experience in IT system administration in IT or Non-IT companies
Requirements
- You have completed training as an IT specialist (e.g. system integration) or information electronics technician.
- You are familiar with LAN, WLAN, VPN and network technologies.
- You are very familiar with software distribution & software packaging as well as Microsoft 365.
- Knowledge of PowerShell programming will make it easier for you to get started.
- You have a good command of written and spoken English.
- You communicate confidently and enjoy working in a team.
- You are used to working independently and are absolutely service-oriented.
