IT Support Engineer (MAC & Windows) (On-Site, Bangalore)

The Team:

The global IT team is responsible for the complete support of all the critical applications running on the Celonis systems. We are the backbone for the critical IT infrastructure and ensure smooth functioning of the global systems.

The Role:

• The role will be based only in BANGALORE, INDIA and a Work from Office role with a lot of flexibility given to employee
• The 1st level support engineer would support all the critical Celonis internal IT systems and would be part of our CoE in Bengaluru Hub of Celonis
• The 1st level support engineer should have proven experience of handling and managing MAC OS (Mandatorily) and Windows
• The professional would be a critical point of contact and the 1st contact person for all IT related issues & queries for this CoE
• Would be part of the Global IT team and would get an opportunity to interact and learn everyday something new from the team
• To be a very good service provider in a superfluid company
  
  

The work you’ll do:

• IT Support Engineer will be a critical building block to solve all the the IT related issues of the CoE. Would be responsible to resolve, transfer or escalate IT tickets raised by internal employees
• Should have proven experience in supporting MAC OS especially
• Work in an international IT support team to solve issues globally
• Troubleshoot and resolve various technical issues via phone, email and remote control
• Operating, transporting, adjusting and installing/configuring computing and related equipment (Mac/Windows environment) for the workplace
• 1st contact & responsible for Onboarding of new Celonis employees in India
• Communication with our users and staff to understand, identify, document and resolve problems
• Performing simple repairs to computing and related equipment
• Develop documentation/user guides for common user issues
• Mobile Device support for corporate smartphones
• On-site support for the Celonis Bengaluru Office
  
  

The qualifications you need:

• Experience of at least in the range of 2-5 years in IT Support
• Knowledge of the MAC environment along with (Windows 10, Windows Server 2012/2016)
• Fundamental knowledge of Active Directory
• Fundamental knowledge of TCP/IP networks
• Microsoft O365 knowledge
• Operate and maintain network printers and network components like video-conferencing systems based on Zoom
• Trouble shoot drivers / software applications
• Knowledge in Mobile Device Management solutions
