IT Support Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a skilled IT Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in IT support or a related field and be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting users, and maintaining IT systems. This role is essential for ensuring smooth IT operations within our organization.

Location : Coimbatore

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems via phone, email, or in person.
• Install, configure, and update computer systems and applications.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining IT infrastructure, including servers, routers, and printers.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
• Document IT support processes and maintain logs of issues and resolutions.
• Educate users on IT best practices and security protocols.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma in IT Support, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
• Familiarity with networking concepts (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
• Understanding of troubleshooting methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• IT certifications (CompTIA A+, ITIL, CCNA) are a plus
• Knowledge of cloud computing and cybersecurity best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
