Job Description:
We are looking for a proactive IT Support Engineer to assist in planning, organizing, and executing IT initiatives across the organization. As an IT Support Engineer at Hatio, you will work alongside a talented team to support IT infrastructure, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure smooth IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for computer systems, software, and hardware issues.
- Administer Linux-based systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Contribute to IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes.
- Manage access to company IT systems and tools.
- Install and configure workstations and software.
- Assist with LAN, WAN, and VPN connectivity management.
- Maintain records of support tickets, system configurations, and IT documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve networking issues, including switches and routing.
- Support corporate IT systems like Microsoft 365, MDMs, and GitLab.
- Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to escalate complex problems when necessary.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience supporting Linux, Mac, and Windows operating systems.
- Strong understanding of networking, switches, and routing.
- Familiarity with corporate IT systems like Microsoft 365, MDMs, GitLab, etc.
- Hands-on, proactive, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible and Bash scripting is a bonus.
- Experience working with cloud providers (preferably AWS) is a bonus.
- Knowledge of security standards and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills.
