Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Project Manager to lead and oversee a variety of technology-driven projects. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of IT systems and software development lifecycles.

Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Initiation:
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
• Ensure alignment of project goals with business objectives.
• Team Leadership & Coordination:
• Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and external vendors, to deliver project outcomes.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring all team members understand their roles.
• Foster collaboration and maintain a productive work environment.
• Project Execution & Monitoring:
• Manage day-to-day project activities, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met on time and within budget.
• Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and address risks promptly.
• Utilize project management tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project) to track progress and report on key metrics.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the project team.
• Regularly communicate project status, updates, and risks to all relevant stakeholders, including executive leadership.
• Manage expectations and ensure stakeholder satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Risk & Change Management:
• Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
• Implement change management processes to handle scope adjustments, budget variances, and timeline shifts.
• Ensure that risks and changes are communicated transparently to stakeholders.
• Quality Assurance:
• Ensure that deliverables meet the established quality standards and business requirements.
• Coordinate testing and validation of system components to ensure successful implementation.
• Post-Project Evaluation:
• Conduct post-project reviews to identify areas of success and improvement.
• Document lessons learned and recommend process improvements for future projects.

Qualifications:

• Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in IT project management, leading technology projects from inception to completion.
• PMP, Prince2, or ScrumMaster certification is a plus.
• Project Management Skills:
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex IT projects simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum).
• Ability to create detailed project plans and manage resources effectively.
• Technical Knowledge:
• Familiarity with IT systems, infrastructure, software development, and cloud computing.
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams and understand the technical aspects of the project.
• Communication & Leadership:
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information to stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to influence, motivate, and drive results through others.
• Problem-Solving & Decision Making:
• Analytical thinking with strong problem-solving abilities to address project challenges.
• Quick decision-making skills to keep projects on track under tight deadlines.
