Job Overview:
We are looking for an IT Project Manager with 2+ years of experience in the IT industry and project management to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects. As an IT Project Manager, you will manage timelines, budgets, and resources while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1 Project Planning & Coordination: Develop detailed project plans, defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements. Coordinate internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
2 Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and quality assurance professionals, to achieve project goals. Ensure that each team member understands their roles and responsibilities.
3 Budget & Resource Management: Monitor project budgets and ensure resources are allocated effectively. Track project expenses and manage procurement of any required tools or services.
4 Risk Management: Identify potential risks to project success and implement risk mitigation strategies. Proactively address challenges and roadblocks that may arise during the project lifecycle.
5 Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project status, timelines, and deliverables. Ensure all stakeholders are aligned with the project’s goals and progress.
6 Quality Control: Ensure that project deliverables meet the defined quality standards. Oversee testing and validation processes to ensure that the final product aligns with client expectations.
7 Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, meeting notes, status reports, and post-project evaluations. Provide detailed reports on project milestones, budget adherence, and any challenges encountered.
8 Agile & Scrum Practices: Work in an Agile environment, leading sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Ensure that the team adheres to Agile methodologies and practices.
9 Process Improvement: Continuously assess project management processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and collaboration.
Qualifications:
1 2+ Years of Project Management Experience: At least 2 years of experience managing IT projects in the IT industry, with a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within scope and budget.
2 Project Management Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or other project management methodologies. Experience managing projects using Agile methodologies is a plus.
3 Strong Technical Understanding: Solid understanding of the IT industry, software development processes, and technology infrastructure.
4 Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams. Ability to manage team dynamics, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts.
5 Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
6 Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to address complex challenges and drive solutions.
7 Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
8 Project Management Tools: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, Microsoft Project) and communication tools.
9 Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Skills
1 Project Management Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional), Scrum Master, or any relevant certification is a plus.
2 Experience with Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their implementation in IT projects.
