IT Project Manager

Job Description:
As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. You will work closely with stakeholders, including technical teams, business units, and vendors, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Execution: Lead the planning and implementation of IT projects, define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and create detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Team Management: Coordinate and manage cross-functional project teams, including developers, business analysts, and technical staff, ensuring efficient use of resources and collaboration.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and addressing any concerns.
• Risk Management: Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline and deliverables.
• Resource Allocation: Ensure the efficient allocation of resources, including staffing, tools, and technology, to meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet high-quality standards and comply with organizational policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Budget & Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure projects are completed within the approved financial constraints.
• Change Management: Manage changes in project scope, timeline, and resources, adjusting plans as needed and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors or service providers, ensuring they meet project requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
• Project Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk assessments, and post-project evaluations.
• Post-Implementation Review: Conduct post-project evaluations to assess the success of the project, identify lessons learned, and make recommendations for future improvements.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in IT project management.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex IT projects from initiation to completion.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, Trello).
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and IT infrastructure.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on solutions-oriented thinking.
• Experience with budgeting, resource allocation, and financial management.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or other relevant project management certification is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
