IT Project Manager

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced IT Project Manager with 3-6 years of experience in managing web development projects, specifically in Shopify, WordPress, and MEAN/MERN stack technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and delivering end-to-end web development projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and client satisfaction. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business stakeholders, while managing project timelines, budgets, and resources. This is an onsite role based in Mohali.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Management:
• Lead and manage multiple web development projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives and timelines.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and requirements, while managing client expectations and project constraints.
• Create detailed project plans, set clear milestones, and establish deadlines to meet project goals.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary to keep the project on track.
• Team Leadership and Coordination:
• Collaborate with development teams (Shopify, WordPress, MEAN/MERN stack) and other internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Allocate tasks, manage resources effectively, and ensure team members meet deadlines and project requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular team meetings to review project status, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Technical Oversight:
• Oversee web development projects across various platforms including Shopify, WordPress, and MEAN/MERN stacks.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams in implementing best practices for design, development, and deployment.
• Ensure that web development projects are built with scalability, security, and performance in mind.
• Conduct code reviews and facilitate communication between technical teams to ensure that all development tasks are completed to specifications.
• Client Interaction and Stakeholder Management:
• Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring client requirements are understood and met.
• Conduct regular client meetings to update them on project progress, manage feedback, and adjust deliverables if needed.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, providing solutions that meet both business and technical needs.
• Budget and Resource Management:
• Manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Allocate resources effectively, ensuring that team members have the necessary tools and support to deliver the project successfully.
• Ensure that the project’s scope and budget are aligned and managed to avoid scope creep or resource shortages.
• Quality Assurance and Testing:
• Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure that deliverables meet client expectations and adhere to best practices.
• Ensure that thorough testing and review processes are conducted, including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including timelines, progress reports, and meeting notes.
• Prepare regular reports for internal stakeholders and clients to provide updates on project status, risks, and accomplishments.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience:
• 3-6 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of delivering web development projects.
• Strong experience in managing projects on Shopify, WordPress, and MEAN/MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular/React, Node.js).
• Hands-on experience managing both front-end and back-end web development projects.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, and front-end frameworks like React.js or Angular.
• Proficiency with content management systems like WordPress and e-commerce platforms such as Shopify.
• Experience in managing full-stack web development projects using MEAN/MERN stack.
• Basic understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and deployment processes.
• Project Management Skills:
• Strong project management skills, including task prioritization, risk management, and deadline management.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar tools.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities to manage cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work well under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and managing competing priorities.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Certification (PMP, Scrum Master, etc.) is a plus.
• Familiarity with web hosting, server management, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Heroku) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and performance optimization for web development projects.

Pay: ?19,939.99 - ?72,623.81 per month
