IT Project Manager

Overview

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Project Manager to lead and manage IT projects from initiation through completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the specified requirements. The IT Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution:
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to project team members and manage project timelines.
• Team Management and Coordination:
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of IT projects.
• Manage and motivate project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between all stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and resolve any issues or obstacles that may arise.
• Risk and Issue Management:
• Identify and manage project risks, potential issues, and roadblocks.
• Implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure the project stays on track.
• Proactively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Budget and Resource Management:
• Manage project budgets and ensure all projects are delivered within the allocated budget.
• Ensure that resources (people, tools, and technology) are allocated efficiently to meet project requirements.
• Client and Stakeholder Communication:
• Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and senior management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Regularly report on project status, deliverables, and key milestones.
• Post-Project Evaluation:
• Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate the success and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance future project delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT project management or a similar role.
• Proven experience in managing and delivering IT projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address issues effectively and efficiently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with software development or IT infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Experience in a leadership or mentoring role.
