IT Network Administrator

Overview

Job Description:

• Design, implement, and support complex network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, etc.).
• Configure, monitor, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner, including performance optimization and connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions with business systems.
• Perform network security management including firewall configuration, access control, and intrusion prevention.
• Conduct regular network performance assessments and implement necessary improvements.
• Manage network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and change logs.
• Provide network support to users and resolve network-related queries.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices for network management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant network security and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 2-5 years of experience in network engineering, with hands-on experience in network design and troubleshooting.
• Strong expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• In-depth knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and other network hardware.
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark).
• Proficiency in network security technologies (firewall configurations, VPNs, intrusion detection systems).
• Hands-on experience with cloud networking and SD-WAN is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
