IT Manager (Odoo)

Overview

About the Role:We are looking for an experienced Odoo Expert to join our team and play a key role in the development, customization, and implementation of Odoo applications. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Odoo’s technical and functional aspects, with the ability to design, develop, and deploy solutions that align with business requirements. You will work closely with our in-house team and external teams to ensure timely project delivery within strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and implement Odoo modules as per business needs.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and APIs.
• Optimize and enhance existing Odoo applications for performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug Odoo applications, ensuring smooth functionality.
• Work collaboratively with the internal team and external vendors to meet project deadlines.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users and clients.
• Maintain and update technical documentation for all developments.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as an Odoo Developer / Consultant with hands-on development expertise.
• Strong knowledge of Odoo framework, Python, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, XML, and QWeb.
• Experience in customizing and developing Odoo modules, including Sales, CRM, Inventory, Accounting, HR, and Manufacturing.
• Familiarity with Odoo deployment and server management.
• Strong understanding of Odoo Workflows, Access Control Lists (ACLs), and Security Rules.
• Experience in data migration and performance optimization.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Experience in RESTful API and third-party integrations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Odoo Certification is an added advantage.
• Prior experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience with Cloud hosting solutions (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.).
• Knowledge of DevOps tools for CI/CD implementation.
