IT Manager

Overview

Key Responsibilities:

• Technology Management
• Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems.
• Manage Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and ensure smooth integration with hospital workflows.
• Ensure high availability and performance of IT services, including clinical systems, communications, and infrastructure.
• Security & Compliance
• Enforce HIPAA compliance and ensure data privacy, security, and integrity.
• Implement cybersecurity protocols and respond to IT incidents or breaches.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.
• Team Leadership
• Lead and supervise the hospital IT staff, including help desk, systems, and network administrators.
• Develop staff training plans and career development strategies.
• Coordinate 24/7 IT support for mission-critical systems.
• Project Management
• Plan and implement IT projects including system upgrades, migrations, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative departments to align IT solutions with operational needs.
• Vendor & Budget Management
• Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
• Evaluate and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and services.
• Monitor and manage IT budget and procurement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, B.E, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years in a healthcare or hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare IT standards.
• Certifications such as CHCIO, CPHIMS, PMP, or ITIL are a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions:

• Occasional evening or weekend work for system upgrades or emergencies.
• On-call availability may be required.
• Fast-paced hospital environment requiring timely and accurate responses to issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

• Rotational shift
