Overview
Experience & Background:
- 10+ of experience in IT infrastructure management, preferably in a mid-to-large-scale enterprise or a fast-growing startup.
- Experience in handling IT for a 400-800 employee company.
- Prior experience in setting up IT infrastructure from scratch or scaling it significantly.
- Strong vendor management skills for hardware, software, SaaS, and cloud procurement.
- Experience in IT security, compliance, and data protection (ISO 27001 knowledge would be a plus).
Skills & Responsibilities:
- IT Infrastructure & Networking:
- Managing company-wide internet, WiFi, VPNs, and networking equipment.
- Ensuring zero downtime and redundancy planning.
- IT Procurement & Asset Management:
- Procuring and managing laptops, desktops, servers, printers, and accessories.
- Negotiating and managing contracts with IT vendors.
- IT Security & Compliance:
- Managing endpoint security, firewalls, and access controls.
- Ensuring ISO 27001 and other data security compliance standards.
- Helpdesk & Employee Support:
- Setting up an IT support ticketing system (Zoho Desk, etc.).
- Driving quick resolution of employee IT issues.
- SaaS & Software License Management:
- Managing Zoho, AWS, Lead Squared, and other software tools.
- Ensuring cost optimization and license compliance.
- Manage a team of 2-3 members
- Network & Security Engineer (1 person) – Manages WiFi, VPN, firewall, access control, and uptime.
- System Administrator / IT Support Engineer (1-2 persons) – Handles employee device setup, troubleshooting, software installs, and IT support tickets.
3. Preferred Qualifications:
- B.Tech / MCA / MBA (IT or Operations) preferred.
- Certifications like ITIL, CCNA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor are a plus.
