IT Manager

Overview

We are looking for a skilled and versatile IT professional to join our team, capable of managing all aspects of our IT infrastructure, including application development, IT networking, technology updates, and overall IT management. The ideal candidate will ensure that our organization stays at the forefront of technological advancements and operates efficiently with minimal technical disruptions.

Key Responsibilities:

• App Development & Maintenance:
• Develop and maintain custom applications to support organizational needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement new features.
• Ensure that all apps are secure, scalable, and updated with the latest features and bug fixes.
• Provide user training and support for internally developed apps.
• IT Infrastructure & Networking:
• Manage the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, computers, and networking systems.
• Ensure smooth operation of LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, resolving issues promptly.
• Implement and maintain IT security measures, including firewalls, encryption, and antivirus software.
• Technology Updates & Innovation:
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends, software, and tools.
• Recommend and implement new technology solutions to improve organizational efficiency.
• Regularly update hardware and software to ensure compatibility and security.
• Develop and implement a technology roadmap aligned with the organization’s goals.
• IT Support & Troubleshooting:
• Provide timely IT support to staff members, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
• Oversee and maintain IT helpdesk services, ensuring minimal downtime for staff.
• Manage software licenses, subscriptions, and asset tracking for all IT equipment.
• Data Management & Security:
• Ensure that organizational data is stored securely and regularly backed up.
• Implement disaster recovery solutions to protect against data loss.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and IT security policies.
• Vendor Management & Procurement:
• Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
• Oversee the procurement of IT equipment, software, and services while adhering to budget constraints.
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure optimal cost-benefit.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT management, app development, and networking.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networking, hardware, and software systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages (such as Python, Java, or others) and app development frameworks.
• In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.

Preferred:

• Certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, or other relevant IT certifications.
• Experience in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Previous experience in an IT role within a non-profit organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
