IT Manager - Hardware & Networking

Overview

Hardware Management:

• Planning and Procurement:Determine hardware needs, research and select vendors, and manage budgets for hardware purchases.
• Installation and Configuration:Install, configure, and maintain hardware, including servers, workstations, network devices, and peripherals.
• Troubleshooting and Repair:Diagnose and resolve hardware issues, perform repairs, and ensure hardware is functioning optimally.
• Asset Management:Track hardware assets, manage inventory, and ensure proper disposal of obsolete equipment.
• Backup and Recovery:Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures for hardware and data.
• Testing and Optimization:Conduct tests to optimize IT systems and ensure they meet performance requirements.

Networking:

• Network Design and Implementation:Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Network Security:Implement and maintain network security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus software.
• Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting:Monitor network performance, identify and resolve network issues, and ensure network stability.
• Network Optimization:Optimize network performance, troubleshoot network problems, and ensure that the network meets the needs of the organization.
• User Training:Provide training and support to end-users on network usage and best practices.
• Vendor Management:Manage relationships with network equipment vendors and ensure timely delivery and support.
• Documentation:Maintain accurate documentation of network infrastructure and configurations.
• Staying Up-to-date:Keep abreast of the latest network technologies and security threats.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
