IT Infrastructure Engineer

Infrastructure engineer (Azure + AWS+AD)
Experience: 8-10 Years.

Azure:

• Leading, monitoring and maintenance of a multiuser computing environment .
• Managing cloud infrastructure service instances and multiple cloud servers.
• Configure compute, networking, and storage in Azure environment.
• Monitor resources in Azure.
• Perform backup and restore operations by using Azure Backup.
• Configure and review backup reports.
• Monitor and troubleshoot virtual networking.
• Deployment of virtual machines (VMs) standalone or by using Azure Resource Manager templates as needed.
• Provision Infrastructure as a service cloud computing for such platforms as AWS or Azure.
• Data center and server installation, maintenance, monitoring in cloudIaaS.
• Responsible for Windows server installation, maintenance, monitoring, data backup and recovery, security, and administration.
• Responsible for managing networked storage.
• Installing, configuring, and supporting primarily Microsoft Windows Servers on IaaS.
• Work with Technical Competencies to install and configure enterprise software used by ONX Homes.

AWS:

• Setup and build AWS infrastructure related to various resources VPC, EC2, S3, EBS, ELB, Security Group, and RDS, AMI.
• Experience working with IAM to create new users, roles, and groups.
• Design and implemented Security using VPC, IAM, Security Groups and NACL.
• Experience on Backup and Restoration from the snapshot and managing encrypted snapshots.
• Implementing security group and NACL for Inbound/Outbound access.
• Experience working with SNS.
• Understand storage requirements, create configure S3 storage, and maintain the ACL.
• Good knowledge of encryption of S3 and other storage types.
• Should have experience with CloudTrail and config.
• Design, develop, and maintain AWS environments and support services.
• Requirements gathering and planning and designing the AWS services.
• Operate and maintain critical AWS application, distributed databases, and application clusters.

Windows:

• Knowledge and experience in working with network infrastructure services such as LDAP/AD, DNS and DHCP
• Administration experience with Active Directory Azure AD, Azure AD Premium, Azure AD Connects and AD FS. On Prem AD DS, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Fileserver.
• Administration experience with FSMO roles, trusts, Kerberos KDCs, replication topology.
• Working experience administering or supporting Microsoft Azure Active Directory and related technologies, such as User Management, Role Management, App Registrations, Shared Secrets, Single Sign-On (SAML/OIDC), and AAD Connect.
• Good experience implementing, administering, and supporting global Microsoft Windows Active Directory networks including Directory Services, DNS, DHCP, DFS, GPO and Security.

Soft Skills:

• Handle escalation calls relating to Azure,AWS and Windows Infrastructure.
• Keep all tickets and projects updated and track time in a detailed format.
• Identify improvements to IT documentation, network maps, processes/procedures, and tickets .
• Work as part of a team to manage Enterprise IT Infrastructure.
• Responsible for troubleshooting operational issues.
• Proactively partner with internal and external resources on service experience improvements and enhancements.
• Ability to work and collaborate effectively with team members organization and individuals within varied skills and experience.
• Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
