IT Infrastructure Analyst

Overview

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Server Monitoring and Security Analyst to ensure the optimal performance, security, and reliability of our IT infrastructure. The role involves real-time monitoring of system health, log analysis, backup management, and security threat detection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regular health checkups of all servers to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor CPU utilization, memory usage, and disk I/O for three servers.
• Continuous log file monitoring and review for critical errors and system warnings.
• Identify and escalate potential issues affecting system performance or security.
• Routine backup monitoring to ensure successful data backups.
• Verify backup integrity and ensure successful data recovery.
• Conduct monthly restoration testing to validate backup reliability.
• Detect unauthorized access attempts, login failures, and brute-force attacks.
• Monitor firewall and intrusion detection systems for potential threats.
• Ensure timely renewal of SSL certificates to prevent service disruptions.
• Track user activity logs for administrator and privileged user actions.
• Generate and submit a weekly monitoring report covering system performance, security threats, and backup status.
• Maintain detailed documentation of security incidents, performance trends, and resolutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in server monitoring, system administration, or IT security.
• Proficiency in log analysis tools, system monitoring software, and security auditing tools.
• Knowledge of Linux/Windows servers, networking, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to document processes, reports, and security events clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications like CompTIA Security+, CEH, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or CISSP.
• Experience working with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
