Job Title: IT Executive (Hotel Industry)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled IT Executive to join our hotel team. The IT Executive will be responsible for managing and maintaining the hotel’s IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations of all technology systems, and providing technical support to hotel staff and guests. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and experience in managing hotel-specific systems such as Property Management Systems (PMS), Point of Sale (POS) systems, and other hospitality software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the hotel’s IT systems, including the Property Management System (PMS), Point of Sale (POS) systems, and other essential hotel software.
- Provide technical support to hotel staff and guests, ensuring quick resolution of any IT issues related to bookings, check-ins, guest services, and internal hotel operations.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software for the hotel, including computers, printers, network devices, and peripheral equipment.
- Ensure all IT systems, including network infrastructure, servers, and databases, are secure and operating efficiently.
- Assist in the maintenance of Wi-Fi networks and ensure smooth internet access for both staff and guests.
- Monitor and maintain the hotel's network security to protect against cyber threats and ensure compliance with privacy and data protection regulations.
- Conduct regular backups of data and ensure disaster recovery systems are in place.
- Support IT-related projects, such as software upgrades, hardware replacements, and system integrations within the hotel.
- Provide training and support for hotel staff on using various IT systems and software.
- Manage hotel’s inventory of IT equipment and software licenses, ensuring proper maintenance and renewal of licenses.
- Document all IT-related procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements relevant to the hospitality sector to improve hotel operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as an IT Executive, IT Support, or similar role, preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of hotel management software (PMS, POS systems) and other hospitality-related technologies.
- Experience in network administration, including routers, firewalls, and Wi-Fi setup, specifically for hospitality environments.
- Familiarity with hotel-specific systems and applications, including guest room technologies, booking engines, and digital signage.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, with a focus on guest-facing technology and hotel operations.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity practices, ensuring guest data protection and system security.
- Ability to communicate effectively with hotel staff, management, and guests regarding IT issues and solutions.
- Ability to work under pressure, solve problems quickly, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced hotel environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud-based systems and hospitality technology integrations (e.g., cloud-based PMS, guest apps).
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar IT certifications are a plus.
- Knowledge of database management and hotel database systems.
- Familiarity with hotel industry standards and best practices for IT management.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
