Overview
To manage and support the IT infrastructure, systems, and applications to ensure smooth business operations. The IT Executive will be responsible for network administration, troubleshooting, data security, and supporting technology-driven logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- IT Infrastructure Management:
- Manage and maintain computer systems, networks, and hardware (servers, routers, printers).
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Oversee system backups, data recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Technical Support:
- Provide technical support to staff across all departments for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system errors, software bugs, and connectivity issues.
- Install, configure, and update software applications as needed.
- Logistics Systems Support:
- Ensure smooth functioning of logistics software (TMS, WMS, ERP) and related applications.
- Support tracking systems for fleet management, vehicle tracking, and inventory.
- Collaborate with the operations team to optimize technology use in supply chain activities.
- Security & Compliance:
- Implement IT security protocols to safeguard company data from breaches or cyber threats.
- Monitor compliance with IT policies and data protection regulations.
- Manage user access controls and cybersecurity awareness among staff.
- Vendor & Asset Management:
- Coordinate with IT vendors for hardware/software procurement, AMC, and repairs.
- Maintain an inventory of IT assets, licenses, and ensure proper documentation.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Generate regular reports on system performance, incidents, and IT activities.
- Document IT procedures, troubleshooting steps, and standard operating protocols.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, Firewalls).
- Proficiency in Windows/Linux servers, MS Office, and ERP systems.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of data security and backup solutions.
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced logistics environments.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certifications like CCNA, CompTIA, or Microsoft certifications are preferred.
Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in IT support, preferably in the logistics or supply chain industry.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- System uptime percentage.
- Resolution time for IT support tickets.
- Compliance with IT security protocols.
- Efficiency in handling software/hardware issues.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Shift:
- Rotational shift
Work Days:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Work Location: In person
