IT Executive

Overview

About the Role:

We are seeking a results-oriented IT administrator to manage our company's computer infrastructure and supervise our IT department. You will be upgrading and installing hardware and software, performing troubleshooting to resolve IT issues, and maintaining our networks and servers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support users: Provide technical support to employees and clients over the phone, or remotely
• Troubleshoot issues: Diagnose and fix hardware and software issues
• Install and configure systems: Set up new users' accounts and profiles, and install and configure hardware, operating systems, and applications
• Update systems: Install new software and hardware drivers, and update existing ones
• Monitor systems: Monitor and maintain computer systems, servers and networks
• Test new technology: Test and evaluate new technology, and assess its impact on the company's IT infrastructure
• Data Recovery: Developing data retrieval and recovery procedures.
• Manage service requests: Log service requests, update tickets, and keep employees informed on the status of their requests
• Ensure security: Ensure the security of IT systems and data, and protect against cyber threats

Candidate Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or similar.
• 2+ years of experience working into IT Support/Technical Support.
• Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of information technology
• Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good to Have:

• Certification in CCNA, CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Network+ etc.
