IT Executive

Overview

An IT executive, also known as an IT Director or Chief Information Officer (CIO), manages an organization's information technology (IT). They oversee IT strategies, budgets, and equipment, and ensure systems security. Responsibilities

• Oversee IT strategies and operations
• Manage IT projects and teams
• Evaluate new technology and recommend acquisitions
• Maintain and improve IT security
• Develop disaster recovery plans
• Safeguard data integrity
• Maintain relationships with vendors and service providers
• Coordinate software implementation and upgrades
• Determine IT budget and equipment needs

Skills and qualifications

• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Extensive knowledge of office software
• Ability to manage personnel
• Expertise in data management and data security
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Effective communication skills
• Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation
• BS in Computer Science, MIS or similar field

Reporting structureIT executives may report directly to the CEO, or they may serve as a Senior or Executive Vice President, Director of Technology, or Management Information Systems Director.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
