Overview

We are seeking a skilled IT Engineer to join our team at Poetry by Love & Cheesecake, a leading brand in the hospitality sector. This role demands expertise in networking, software, hardware, CCTV, and biometric systems to ensure seamless operations across our establishments.​

Job Title: IT Engineer – Hospitality Sector
Location: Bhandup, Mumbai
Experience: 4+ Years
CTC: ₹50,000/month

Key Responsibilities:
Networking & Infrastructure:
Design, implement, and maintain robust network infrastructures, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and firewalls.Monitor network performance to ensure optimal uptime and troubleshoot connectivity issues promptly.​

Software & Systems Support:
Provide technical support for POS, PMS, and other hospitality software applications.Ensure software installations, updates, and configurations are executed efficiently.

​Hardware Maintenance:
Oversee the installation and upkeep of hardware components, including servers, workstations, and peripheral devices.Perform regular hardware diagnostics and implement necessary repairs or upgrades.

​CCTV & Surveillance Systems:
Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, ensuring comprehensive coverage and security.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to camera malfunctions, recording errors, and network connectivity problems.

Biometric & Access Control Systems:
Manage biometric systems for employee attendance and access control.Ensure data integrity and troubleshoot any discrepancies or system errors.​

Technical Support & Training:
Provide on-site and remote technical support to staff across various departments.Conduct training sessions to enhance staff proficiency in using IT systems and equipment.​

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in IT support within the hospitality or retail sector.
Proficiency in network configuration and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routers, switches).Experience with CCTV systems, including IP cameras, DVR/NVR setups, and video management software.Familiarity with biometric systems and access control technologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

​Preferred Skills:

Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent.Experience with hospitality-specific software systems (POS).Knowledge of server maintenance and cloud-based solutions.
