IT Engineer

Overview

Job Summary:

We are looking for a self-reliant IT Engineer who can single-handedly manage IT infrastructure, system maintenance, data security, and user support. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle hardware, software, networking, backups, and cybersecurity without requiring a large team.

Key Responsibilities:1. IT Maintenance & Infrastructure Management:

• Manage and maintain computers, laptops, servers, and network devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware & software issues.
• Ensure regular updates & patch management for OS and applications.
• Maintain Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, and internet connectivity for smooth operations.

2. Data Security & Backup Management:

• Implement firewall, antivirus, and endpoint security solutions.
• Ensure data encryption & access control policies are in place.
• Set up and monitor automated data backups & disaster recovery plans.
• Prevent data leaks and unauthorized access to sensitive company information.

3. User Support & Troubleshooting:

• Act as the go-to IT support for all employees.
• Handle hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently.
• Provide basic training to employees on IT security & best practices.
• Manage email configurations, user accounts, and permissions.

4. Network & System Security:

• Monitor network traffic and detect suspicious activities.
• Implement secure remote access solutions (VPN, multi-factor authentication).
• Conduct regular audits to identify vulnerabilities & security threats.

5. Asset & Vendor Management:

• Maintain IT inventory records (laptops, servers, routers, etc.).
• Manage software licenses and renewals.
• Coordinate with external vendors for procurement & maintenance.

Qualifications & Skills:

✅ Education: Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
✅ Experience: 3-7 years of experience in IT support, system administration, and cybersecurity.
✅ Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, networking (LAN, WAN, VPN), and cybersecurity.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, antivirus, backup solutions, and cloud storage.
• Familiarity with ERP, SAP, and database management is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
