Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled IT Engineer with expertise in server installation, firewall management, core switching, routing, and domain creation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient management of IT infrastructure, ensuring robust security, and providing technical support across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Server Installation & Management: Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers to support business operations.
• Firewall Management: Configure and manage firewalls to ensure network security and data protection.
• Core Switching & Routing: Design, implement, and manage core network infrastructure, including switches and routers, to optimize performance and reliability.
• Domain Management: Create and manage domains, ensuring seamless integration and user access.
• Technical Support: Provide timely support for hardware, software, and network issues, resolving problems efficiently.
• Network Security: Implement and maintain security protocols to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
• System Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand IT needs and provide solutions that align with business goals.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on server, firewall, and networking.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA, and Microsoft Certified) are preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

• Proven experience in server installation and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of firewall configuration and management.
• Expertise in core switching and routing protocols.
• Experience in creating and managing domains.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Working Conditions:

• May require on-call availability for critical issue resolution.
• Some travel may be required to support remote sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
