Overview
DIATOZ is looking to hire an IT Engineer - Intern, who coordinates, plans, and leads organizational computer-related activities. They help determine the IT needs of an organization and are responsible for implementing computer systems to fulfill the organization's information systems requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serves as a technical expert in system administration for complex operating systems. In large companies, this requires understanding a global or multi-office network infrastructure
- Lead and assist teammates in various IT-related functions and keep them motivated
- Design, install, and configure internal and customer-facing servers, network devices, and firewalls
- Design and implement monitoring, configuration management, and reporting functions that will make a hands-off environment
- Helps develop, document, communicate, and enforce a network technology policy
- Is responsible for installing and configuring new software and hardware, including the server network, devices, and firewalls, and setting up and managing VPN tunneling.
- Setting up on-prem and cloud data center(s), monitoring, dashboard, server health check, periodic optimization
- Strong troubleshooting ability on Windows and Linux RHEL, IBM standard applications, network, printer, and VPN issues.
- Is responsible for monitoring system performance, IT system operations, and storage utilization
- Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure emergencies as well as occasional weekend maintenance.
- Plans ahead for necessary hardware or software upgrades to support system growth
- Manages user accounts and assets and assigns and updates security permissions on the network according to security policy
- Provides support with escalated help desk requests
- Led a team of systems administrators and coordinated with different departments
- Mentor team members and educate users
- Assist with hardware, firewall, telecom, and software vendor evaluation, recommendation, and negotiations. Mentor / cross-train team members on existing and new technologies
- Interact with customers and staff at the technical level, as required
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience -
- CCNA/ CCNP MCITP Server Certifications
- Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS)
Education - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related.
Technical expertise:
- Min Experience of 1 year with cloud-based technology such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Azure.
- Microsoft Certification (MCSE) or equivalent certification in relevant programs desired.
- Advanced knowledge of Windows Server (2003/2008) /desktop Operating Systems (XP/7)
- Managing over 50 Windows Server infrastructure
- Managing deployments/rollouts
- Managing large-scale Citrix/2X/Terminal Server installations
- Managing server virtualization technologies like VMWare Server/ESX or Microsoft Hyper-V/Virtual Server
- A solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking
- Cisco Certified Network Associate or Professional - CCNA/ CCNP MCITP Server
- Group Policy design and configuration
- Experience of 1 year of Microsoft IIS administration and configuration
- Migration of Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010
- Linux/UNIX administration, with hands-on shell scripting and commands (root and user commands) and at least 3 years of experience
- Active Directory/LDAP user and group administration
- Ability to troubleshoot network issues, including backbone infrastructure issues
- LAN Routing and Switching design, configuration, and troubleshooting (VLANs, IP Subnetting, 802.1Q trunks)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- Must have a minimum experience of 3 years of leading an IT Team and have the ability to manage projects of varying length
- Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently
- Must be a team player

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
