We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with 4+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders, product owners, developers, and project managers to ensure that business requirements are translated into functional and technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering:
- Conduct detailed requirements analysis and validation sessions with business stakeholders.
- Document business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases.
- Business process modelling using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN)
Technical Analysis:
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to design, implement, and maintain technical solutions.
- Analyse technical constraints and feasibility of various solutions.
- Project Management Support:
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and tracking.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and objectives.
- Communication:
- Serve as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams.
- Facilitate meetings and presentations to communicate project status, updates, and findings.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for improving business processes and system functionalities.
- Recommend and implement best practices and process optimization strategies.
- Testing and Validation:
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
- Conduct system testing to ensure functional and non-functional requirements are met.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure issues are resolved before deployment.
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including system design documents, process flows, and user guides, help documents.
- Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst.
- Proven experience in requirement gathering, business process analysis, and project management.
- Strong technical background with knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in using business analysis tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong English-speaking skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in energy industry.
- Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Project Management (PMP, Agile).
- Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
Work Environment:
- This role may require occasional travel to other company locations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Able to work flexibly in multiple time zone (Mainly GMT +10 & GMT +8, ie Australian and Asian time zones)
Laptop and PC Requirements for Hybrid Arrangement:
- These are the minimum system requirements we are looking for a remote working staff that we want to hire:
- Must be Minimum windows 8, and 10 / Mac 12.X or higher.
- Internet Speed must be above 20Mbps UP and Down.
- Anti-Virus and Firewall must be enabled.
- The system must have a minimum of 20 GB of disk space on the C drive.
- System RAM must be a minimum of 8 GB.
- Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster process
- Must have a backup internet connection
- Best but not required to have a backup laptop or computer if the current computer fails.
