Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager - IT Infrastructure Support to lead our IT support team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in IT service desk operations, IT asset management, and Microsoft Outlook email system management. This role requires exceptional leadership skills to manage a team and ensure seamless IT infrastructure support across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the IT support team to deliver efficient and effective IT services.
- Establish and monitor team performance metrics and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Provide regular training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
- Foster a collaborative and customer-focused team culture.
Service Desk Operations:
- Oversee the IT service desk operations, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
- Implement best practices for incident management, problem management, and service request fulfillment.
- Utilize IT Service Management (ITSM) tools to track and manage service desk performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve complex IT issues.
IT Asset Management:
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets including procurement, deployment, tracking, and decommissioning.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset inventory using asset management tools.
- Ensure compliance with asset management policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware and software purchases and support.
Outlook Email System Management:
- Manage and support the Microsoft Outlook and Exchange email systems.
- Administer email accounts, distribution groups, and shared mailboxes.
- Implement and maintain email retention policies and archiving solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve email-related issues promptly.
- Ensure email security measures are in place and monitor for threats.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT infrastructure support.
- Proven experience in leading and managing IT support teams.
- Strong knowledge of IT service desk operations, IT asset management, and Microsoft Outlook/Exchange management.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent.
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified.
- Experience in using PowerShell for automation and management.
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
