Overview
Job Summary:
The IT Administrator will be responsible for managing the organization’s IT assets,
ensuring cybersecurity compliance, administering Google Workspace, managing
user access controls, and overseeing IT change management processes. The ideal
candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability
to maintain a secure and efficient IT environment.

The IT Administrator will be responsible for managing the organization’s IT assets,
ensuring cybersecurity compliance, administering Google Workspace, managing
user access controls, and overseeing IT change management processes. The ideal
candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability
to maintain a secure and efficient IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- IT Asset Management:
- Maintain an inventory of all hardware and software assets.
- Track procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement of IT
- Ensure optimal utilization and lifecycle management of IT assets.
- Security & Antivirus Management:
- Deploy, update, and monitor antivirus/anti-malware solutions across all
- Implement security best practices to safeguard IT infrastructure.
- Google Workspace Administration:
- Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions in Google Workspace
- Troubleshoot access and functionality issues for employees.
- Ensure compliance with data storage and sharing policies.
- Access Control Management:
- Grant and revoke employee access to IT applications based on roles
- Document access privileges and audit logs for compliance.
- Change Management Oversight:
- Coordinate IT application updates, patches, and system modifications.
- Ensure changes follow organizational protocols with minimal disruption.
- Maintain a change log and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Additional Duties:
- Provide technical support for IT-related issues.
- Assist in IT policy development and compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA if
- Collaborate with vendors for IT procurement and support.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or
equivalent experience).
Experience:
- 2+ years in IT administration, asset management, or security.
- Hands-on experience with Google Workspace, endpoint security, and
Soft Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in English
