Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manual QA Tester with a strong focus on accessibility testing for iOS mobile applications.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accessibility of our iOS applications through manual testing.
Need to collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to identify and report defects, with a particular emphasis on ensuring our apps meet accessibility standards and provide a seamless experience for all users, including those with disabilities.
Job Profile:
Perform comprehensive manual testing of iOS mobile applications, focusing on functionality, usability, and accessibility.
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and specifications.
Conduct thorough accessibility testing using tools such as VoiceOver, Switch Control, and other assistive technologies.
Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using bug tracking systems.
Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve identified issues.
Verify bug fixes and ensure that they meet quality and accessibility standards.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies.
Provide clear and concise test reports and status updates.
Stay up-to-date with the latest iOS accessibility guidelines (WCAG, Apple Human Interface Guidelines) and best practices.
Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Provide feedback on UI/UX designs from an accessibility and usability perspective.
Test for internationalization and localization.
Work Experience
3-4 years of experience in manual software testing.
Proven experience in testing iOS mobile applications.
Strong understanding of accessibility testing principles and guidelines (WCAG, Apple Accessibility Guidelines).
Hands-on experience with accessibility testing tools such as VoiceOver, Switch Control, and Accessibility Inspector.
Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a passion for quality.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Understanding of the software 1 development lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience in creating test cases and test plans.
