Job Description:

Job Summary

Cloud Infrastructure Administration for all PeopleSoft related infrastructure

Responsibilities:

• Initiative-taking monitoring using OCI Console for the Components like (VCN), Subnets, IPSec VPN, Load balancers, Compute & Storage services.
• Performance monitoring and tuning on the incoming & outgoing traffics, Load Balancing services, Networking levels & on other Compute services.
• Monitoring of Identity Cloud which helps to administrate services like Application Administrator, Audit Administrator, Identity Domain Administrator, Security Administrator, User Administrator, Identity Domain Administrator, Security Administrator, User Administrator
• Operating System Security and access control, data security is the prime objective on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), thus Keys Management System (KMS) knowledge is desired.
• Space management for the Block Volumes, Boot Volumes & NFS mounts (mounting or unmounting with proper rights & privileges)
• Monitoring of Memory and CPU utilization, during the pick or the scheduled Batch jobs run, memory & other related services can be scaled UP/DOWN accordingly.
• Monitoring of resource/storage growth and capacity planning.
• Implementation of OS best practices.
• Implementation of Security best practices.
• Monitoring Support on System & Network Security Using audit tools.
• Work with Oracle support on a 24x7 basis on issues and software bugs for Production P1 issues.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

• Exhibit a high-level of diligence, possess the ability to multi-task and adjust to shifting priorities.
• The individual must possess excellent people skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to maintain documentation, manuals, and produce reports.
• Ability to solve complex problems in a timely manner by collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and processes with a high degree of accuracy.
• Must demonstrate proficiency with MS Office tools such as Excel to assist with data analysis.
• Expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
• Expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud
• Expertise in Windows and Linux Operating Systems
• Expertise with OS patching and upgrade processes
• Expertise with data encryption and key management
• Expertise with Azure SSO
• Working knowledge of PeopleSoft architecture, performance tuning, and backup and recovery
• Experience in the annual full failover from primary to secondary data center
• Experience in handling Configurations/Upgrades with Checkpoint Servers.
• Experience on OCI Upgrade is preferred.
