Job Description
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for automating and optimizing our software release processes. You will work closely with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, manage code repositories, and troubleshoot deployment issues. Your strong communication skills and ability to provide innovative solutions will be crucial in enhancing our release management strategies.
Responsibilities
DevOps Tools & Technologies :
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for automating and optimizing our software release processes. You will work closely with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, manage code repositories, and troubleshoot deployment issues. Your strong communication skills and ability to provide innovative solutions will be crucial in enhancing our release management strategies.
Responsibilities
- Provide innovative ideas and solutions to improve release management processes.
- Streamline deployment workflows and ensure efficient software delivery.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize release cycles.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines.
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Ensure seamless integration of DevOps tools with Azure.
- Build and manage Docker containers for application deployment.
- Implement container orchestration strategies.
- Optimize container performance and security.
- Compile .NET code using command-line tools.
- Troubleshoot .NET code deployment issues and resolve errors.
- Ensure code quality and consistency.
- Manage code repositories using Git and SVN.
- Implement and maintain branching strategies.
- Migrate code repositories from SVN to Git (added advantage).
- Utilize Postman API for testing and managing APIs.
- Ensure API reliability and performance.
- Implement and manage monitoring tools like Nagios.
- Configure alerts and notifications for system issues.
- Ensure system availability and performance.
- Utilize Target Process for project management and task tracking.
- Collaborate with project teams using project management tools.
DevOps Tools & Technologies :
- Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Boards).
- Docker (Containerization).
- CI/CD concepts and implementation.
- Git (Version Control).
- SVN (Version Control).
- Postman API (API Testing).
- Nagios (Monitoring).
- Target Process (Project Management).
- NET Development :
- .NET code compilation using command-line tools.
- .NET code troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to provide innovative solutions.
