About the Role:
We are hiring an Information Security Analyst to work in our growing IT Security team on an interesting and challenging project. You will monitor our computer networks for security issues, recover systems with lost credentials and document any security issues or breaches you find. To do well in this role, you should have the knowledge and experience in the information security field.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on various systems, applications, and networks to identify security weaknesses.
- Develop and execute test plans, web application testing, and network assessments.
- Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Monitor computer networks for security issues.
- Investigate security breaches and other cyber security incidents.
- Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs.
- Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause.
- Work with security teams to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities.
- Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.
- Develop company-wide best practices for IT security.
- Stay up to date on information technology trends and security standards. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in offensive security, penetration testing, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of security concepts, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap).
- Relevant certifications such as CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) or similar are a plus.
- Hands on Experience in Kali Linux, Shell Scripting and Reverse Engineering
- Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques.
- Understanding firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus and IDPS concepts
- Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them.
