We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Consultant Specialist

In this role you will:

Ownership for end-to-end activities on new development/enhancements of ETL Pipelines (DataStage jobs).
Key Responsibilities:

• Providing technical expertise in finding root cause of major system problems, automation and infrastructure issues, data management and exception handling.
• Building automation capabilities to support the execution and scheduling of operational and large-scale data management activities on Oracle (PL/SQL).
• Fix problems of Data quality. Continuously improve data quality.
• Support of the various testing activities related to the new implementations. Reviewing, designing and re-engineering processes with new technologies to improve performance.

Qualifications – External

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 12+ years Experience in Data engineering
• 6+ years experience in Data ETL development with IBM Datastage.
• Proficiency in Database SQL script development.
• Proficiency in Linux infra skills with PowerShell, Shell scripting.
• Secondary skills: Oracle DBA
• Knowledge on Devops and Agile practices.
