Your Role And Responsibilities

As an IBM App Services Software Developer, you will play a vital role within the Office of the CIO, contributing significantly to the success of the IBM App Services mission. You will be an integral member of the IBM App Services team, collaborating closely to develop, publish, and provide distribution support for iOS, macOS, and Android applications on public marketplaces.

As a Full Stack Developer, Your Responsibilities Would Include

• Development of new features delivered in our monthly releases.
• Support of the existing back-end and front-end code.
• Collaborate with Product Manager, Architect, Development, Design and Testing teams, contributing to overall success of the project.
• Ability to take full ownership and deliver component or functionality.
• Collaborate with Project Manager and Team to convert requirements into features and lead the team to a successful delivery.
  
  

Preferred Education

Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

Proven expertise in full-stack development methodologies

Strong proficiency in Node.js and its ecosystem

Expertise in the Express.js framework for building robust back-end applications

Strong problem-solving, analytic, decision-making and excellent communication with interpersonal skills

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

In-depth knowledge of Angular framework for front-end development

Solid understanding of Kubernetes for container orchestration and management

Proficiency in Docker for containerization and deployment

Experience in developing applications for macOS

Familiarity with Java programming language

Experience with Red Hat OpenShift platform is a plus

Experience with IBM Cloudant NoSQL database service

Familiarity with IBM Cloud Object Storage for data management
