Job Title: Software Engineer
Location: Hybrid (3 days WFO & Rest Remote)
Duration: 9 Months (Possible extension)

Job description:
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions that align with project goals and meet quality standards.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices and appropriate software design patterns.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements for software projects.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure software meets functional and performance requirements. Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback and improve code quality.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve technical issues and optimize software performance.
- Contribute to the documentation of software designs, technical specifications, and user manuals.
- Work effectively in an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, estimation, and other team activities.
- Continuously enhance your skills and knowledge through self-study, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to propose innovative solutions and improvements.
Required Skills:
- 6+ experience in developing & testing applications/components with C#/.NET and .NET Core, including implementing Design Patterns & 3rd Party Frameworks
- Strong hands-on experience in Azure in services such as App Service, Functions, Service Bus, AKS, AAD, AppInsights, Application Gateways, Storage accounts etc.
- Experience in creating and working with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Infrastructure as Code
- Strong experience in writing Unit tests, Integration tests with testing frameworks such as MS Test/N-Unit/X-Unit and use of mocking frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Azure CLI, PowerShell, REST API and Microservices.
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL and Entity Framework.
- Experience in creating and working with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and leveraging IaC (Infrastructure as Code) for deployment automation using Terraform, ARM template etc. on Microsoft Azure
- Good expertise and experience with DevOps services administration, monitoring, logging and troubleshooting of pipelines
- Substantial experience with version control software (Azure DevOps, GitHub etc.)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira/Confluence, Miro etc.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker and Kubernetes) is meriting
- Knowledge and experience in deployment using GitHub Actions is highly desirable
- Ability to interact with business users for requirement elicitation, clarification, coordination, and explain/walkthrough solutions.
Preferred Skills:
- Preferred to have at least Azure Administrator (AZ104) and/or Developer (AZ204) certifications
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms, such as OAuth and JWT.
- Knowledge on Splunk monitoring and Big Query is preferable.
- Preferred to have some knowledge about integration towards payment systems, PSP and payment gateway.
- Have some understanding on the payment fraud and in general customer fraud in the ecommerce.
- Passion for staying updated with emerging technologies and trends in software development.
- Good if you have worked with online fraud prevention tools such as Forter or Riskified, and payment service providers.
Required cloud certification: Preferred Azure Administrator (AZ104)
