  Job Description:-
  We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with development expertise to manage, optimize, and fine-tune our databases for high performance and scalability.
  The ideal candidate should have strong experience in query optimization, performance tuning, high availability & disaster recovery (HADR), data migration, and log shipping,
  along with hands-on database development skills.
  Key Responsibilities:-
  
  • Fine-tune and optimize queries for better performance and efficiency.
  • Perform indexing, partitioning, and query execution analysis to improve database performance.
  • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery (HADR), log shipping, replication, and failover clustering.
  • Conduct database migrations and upgrades with minimal downtime.
  • Implement backup, restore, and recovery strategies to prevent data loss.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot database performance, locks, deadlocks, and slow queries.
  • Work closely with developers to improve database schema design and best practices.
  • Automate database maintenance tasks using SQL scripts and automation tools.
  • Ensure database security, access control, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest database technologies, tools, and trends.
  Required Skills & Qualifications:-
  
  • 5+ years of experience as a DBA with SQL development experience.
  • Strong expertise in query optimization, performance tuning, and indexing strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with HADR, log shipping, replication, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Experience in data migration, backup, and restoration across environments.
  • Proficiency in database engines like MSSQL.
  • Strong knowledge of stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions.
  • Experience with ETL processes and data integration.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (SQL Profiler, Performance Monitor, DMVs).
  • Understanding of cloud-based database solutions (AWS RDS, Azure SQL).
  • Ability to collaborate with development teams to optimize database queries.
