Hardware & Network Engineer

Overview

• Comprehensive understanding of computer hardware, CCTV, software, and electrical systems is required.
• Capability to identify potential issues in a system configuration.
• Testing hardware components.
• Analyzing systems data in order to make changes to the hardware configuration.
• Oversee the installation and maintenance of equipment.
• Undertake testing of the data centre servers and network after installation and highlight issues and get it resolved.
• Conduct system security, data backup and redundant storage and access norms for database administration and ensure adherence to the same
• Ensure backup of transaction data, development server and treating server on periodic basis
• Configure the data centre servers and data network as per design requirements
• Undertake periodic functional testing of applications to ensure smooth operations
• Document the current system specs along with the bugs and defects and how can those overpowered.
• Improving the efficiency of current networks
• Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP
• Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security
• Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
• Arranging scheduled upgrades
• Investigating faults in the network
• Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,051.54 per month
