Hardware & Network Engineer

Overview

Computer Hardware & Network Engineer Responsibilities:

• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners.
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
• Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone).
• Setting up accounts for new users.
• Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary. Testing new technology. Possibly training more junior staff members. Install and configure network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Installation of Firewall UTMs
• Perform network testing and commissioning Diagnose and resolve network issues Manage on-site installations and Wi-Fi networks
• Experience of working in Domain Controller and Workstation (Server-Client) Environment
• Installation of DC and Setting up Group Policies / DNS Server / DHCP Server / VPN Tunneling
• Connecting Workstation Machines to Domain Controller
