Hardware & Network Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Computer Hardware & Networking Engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot computer systems and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have expertise in hardware installation, networking protocols, and system security to ensure smooth IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:Hardware & System Maintenance:

• Assemble, install, and upgrade computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals.
• Diagnose and repair hardware issues, including motherboards, RAM, hard drives, and power supplies.
• Perform routine system maintenance and software updates.
• Provide technical support for end-users regarding hardware-related issues.

Networking & Connectivity:

• Install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and network devices (routers, switches, modems).
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and optimize performance.
• Ensure network security by implementing firewalls, antivirus, and encryption methods.
• Set up and manage VPNs and remote access solutions.

Server & IT Infrastructure Management:

• Configure and maintain servers, including Windows Server, Linux, and cloud-based systems.
• Monitor system performance and optimize resource allocation.
• Manage data backups and disaster recovery solutions.
• Ensure cybersecurity compliance and best practices in IT infrastructure.

Technical Support & Documentation:

• Provide technical support and guidance to employees on IT-related concerns.
• Document troubleshooting steps, network configurations, and IT policies.
• Collaborate with IT teams to develop efficient IT solutions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience in computer hardware troubleshooting and network administration.
• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and server management.
• Hands-on experience with network devices like Cisco, HP, and MikroTik routers & switches.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple IT issues simultaneously.

Preferred Certifications:

• CompTIA A+ (Hardware & Software Support)
• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
• Network+ (Networking Essentials)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
