Overview
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hardware IT Support Engineer to provide on-site technical support for our clients' IT hardware infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing IT hardware equipment, as well as providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. On-site Technical Support: Travel to client sites to provide technical support for IT hardware equipment, including desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and other peripherals.
2. Hardware Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and test IT hardware equipment to ensure proper functioning.
3. Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair hardware faults, including diagnosing and replacing faulty components.
4. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that clients' technical issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical issues, solutions, and client interactions.
6. Inventory Management: Manage inventory of spare parts and equipment, ensuring that necessary items are available for on-site support.
7. Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT teams, including software support and network administration, to resolve complex technical issues.
8. Knowledge Update: Stay up-to-date with the latest hardware technologies, ensuring that technical knowledge is current and relevant.
