We are seeking a Guidewire QA Performance Test Engineer with 5+ years of experience in applications and systems, in meeting the required performance, scalability, and reliability standards. The primary goal is to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks before deployment.

We are seeking a Guidewire QA Performance Test Engineer with 5+ years of experience in applications and systems, in meeting the required performance, scalability, and reliability standards. The primary goal is to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks before deployment.
Requirements
- Define performance testing objectives, scope, and strategy.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) like response time, throughput, and resource utilization.
- Determine test environment requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain performance test scripts using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, etc.
- Simulate different user loads and real-world scenarios.
- Execute various types of performance tests (load, stress, endurance, scalability, spike testing).
- Analyze system behaviour under different load conditions.
- Identify and diagnose bottlenecks in application, database, or network performance.
- Use monitoring tools for example, New Relic, Dynatrace, Grafana, AppDynamics to track system performance.
- Work closely with developers to optimize code performance.
- Provide performance test results and recommendations to DevOps and infrastructure teams.
- Assist in performance tuning of applications, databases, and servers.
- Document test plans, scenarios, results, and findings.
- Generate performance test reports and dashboards.
- Communicate insights and improvement recommendations to stakeholders.
- Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Automate performance testing for faster feedback and scalability.
- Determine system limits and provide recommendations for scaling.
- Ensure the application can handle expected user growth.
- Ensure performance tests comply with security and regulatory standards.
- Identify potential vulnerabilities related to performance.
