Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions.

The role requires 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering with expertise in GCP services, automation, and cloud migrations.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving cloud strategies, optimizing performance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy scalable solutions using GCP services like Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency while aligning with business goals.
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform, Deployment Manager, and scripting (Python/Bash).
• Lead cloud migration projects, modernizing legacy systems to GCP-native architectures.
• Set up monitoring systems and implement disaster recovery, high availability, and fault-tolerant solutions.
• Apply security best practices, ensure compliance with standards like GDPR and HIPAA, and conduct security assessments.
• Collaborate with DevOps, development, and data teams to streamline deployments and improve cloud operations.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and support teams with technical guidance.

Required Skills & Expertise:

• Core Expertise: Strong knowledge of GCP services, including Compute Engine, GKE, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions.
• Automation Tools: Proficiency in Terraform, Deployment Manager, and scripting with Python or Bash.
• DevOps Practices: Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Cloud Build.
• Networking & Security: Expertise in VPC networking, IAM policies, firewalls, and security configurations.
• Monitoring Tools: Hands-on experience with Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and performance optimization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 6+ years of cloud engineering experience, with a focus on GCP.
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Data Engineer certification must.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹301,979.47 - ₹1,559,877.67 per year
