Job Description:

A Full Stack Mobile Developer with expertise in PHP for backend development and Linux (Ubuntu) server management is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both mobile applications and the infrastructure that supports them. In this role, you’ll work on both mobile app development and managing server environments, ensuring that backend services are seamlessly integrated with mobile applications. You'll be expected to have a deep understanding of backend development in PHP, mobile app development, and Linux server administration to handle deployment, performance, and scaling of both the application and the server environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Mobile Development (Frontend):

- Design, develop, and deploy mobile applications for iOS and Android.

- Integrate mobile apps with backend services through RESTful APIs or GraphQL.

- Optimize apps for performance and scalability across multiple devices.

- Collaborate with designers to ensure UI/UX best practices are followed.

- Test, debug, and ensure the app works on various screen sizes and OS versions.

- Implement mobile-specific features, including push notifications, geolocation, etc.

2. Backend Development (PHP):

- Design and maintain scalable, high-performance PHP-based server-side applications.

- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs or GraphQL APIs to communicate between mobile apps and backend systems.

- Work with databases (MySQL.) to manage data storage and retrieval.

- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT, and session-based auth.

- Troubleshoot and debug server-side issues, optimizing for performance, security, and scalability.

3. Server Management (Linux - Ubuntu):

- Deploy, configure, and manage backend services on Linux (Ubuntu) servers.

- Ensure server reliability, availability, and scalability through proactive monitoring and maintenance.

- Set up and manage web servers (Apache).

- Configure and maintain database servers and optimize queries and server performance.

- Handle server security, including configuring firewalls, managing user permissions, and performing regular updates/patches.

4. Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to define app features and functionality.

- Participate in code reviews and collaborate to improve code quality.

- Maintain and update mobile applications based on user feedback and evolving business needs.

- Provide technical support for deployed applications and services.

- Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and improving server-side operations.

Qualifications:

1. Technical Skills:

- Mobile Development: Proficiency in building cross-platform mobile apps using frameworks like React Native, Flutter, or native mobile development with Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android).

- Backend Development: Strong experience with PHP, particularly with PHP frameworks such as Yii2.

- API Development: Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs.

- Databases: Expertise in working with relational databases like MySQL optimization techniques.

- Server Management: Proven experience in configuring and managing Linux (Ubuntu) servers, including deployment, security, and performance tuning.

- Version Control: Experience with SVN/GIT for version control.

- Web Servers: Experience with web servers such as Apache, including configuring virtual hosts, SSL, and security features.

- Security Best Practices: Understanding of server-side security, including configuring firewalls, access control, and encryption.

2. Experience:

- 5 years of experience in mobile app development and backend development.

- Solid experience with PHP and Linux (Ubuntu) server management.

- Hands-on experience with deploying, managing, and optimizing backend systems on dedicated servers.

- Familiarity with mobile performance optimization techniques and mobile-specific testing frameworks.
