About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Java developer to join our dynamic development team. As a Java developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying software applications and systems according to client requirements. You will also be involved in analysing and resolving software defects and issues, conducting code reviews, and assisting in software testing and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing, coding, and modifying software applications using Java and related technologies.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to determine project requirements and specifications.
• Investigating and resolving software defects, bugs, and performance issues.
• Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to improve code quality.
• Assisting in software testing, debugging, and deployment processes.
• Analysing user requirements and translating them into software solutions.
• Collaborating with product owners, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation.
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and libraries and implementing them as needed.
• Participating in Agile/Scrum development methodologies and contributing to team discussions and meetings.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks and technologies (e.g., Spring, Hibernate, Maven).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle) and SQL queries.
• Experience with cloud-based architectures and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
• Experience with microservices architecture and related technologies (e.g., Spring Boot).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Understanding of software testing and test automation frameworks (e.g., Junit, Selenium).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) and build tools (e.g., Jenkins, Gradle).
