Job description:

Whizamet Services is looking for a candidate who is responsible for building and maintaining functional web pages and applications. Candidates must be good in refining website specifications and resolving technical issues. The Candidate must have knowledge of IT services like Web Development services which Whizamet provides. Candidates must have a good understanding of HTML5, Java,Laravel and Shopify. Candidates should be able to deliver the tasks on the assigned time limit.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• To Build, design and maintain all websites and software applications.
• To Understand UI, cross-browser compatibility, and general web functions and standards.
• To work with front-end and back-end developers on projects.
• To create an engaging and knowledgeable online Shopify store to increase sales and revenue
• To create bespoke Shopify themes and change pre-existing templates per predefined brand guidelines
• To create solutions for identified problems or bugs Communicates with colleagues, managers, and clients daily. Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, Wordpress, jQuery)
• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g.,React, Node.js, Laravel)
• To develop and validate test routines to ensure the quality of the external and internal interface.
• To maintain a professional understanding of web development by tracking trends.
• To accomplish company goals by accepting ownership of new and different requests.
• To develop PHP applications that seamlessly integrate applications and databases in a very efficient manner.

Skills & Requirements:

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Must have 1.5 years of experience in application development and testing.
• Ability to create support documentation for all new applications.
• A solid understanding of application design using Laravel.
• Working knowledge of Shopify's theming system and Liquid templating.
• Previous experience implementing/debugging third-party Shopify apps, as well as building unique solutions if needed.
• Working knowledge of third-party services and APIs, as well as Shopify plugins
• Strong teamwork skills
• Proven knowledge of the most current web development programming languages.
