Full Stack Developer

Overview

Join a British/US pre-seed startup as a founding engineer in Bangalore and build an AI + Crypto platform from scratch. You will be the third team member and play a core role in shaping our product and tech culture. About Us: We’re an experienced founding team on our third startup (two previous exits). We’re building at the intersection of AI & crypto. Our founder will be working alongside you in Bangalore for significant periods. We move fast, work hard, and have a big market to serve.

Role – What You’ll Do: (Full-stack, with lots of autonomy)

• Build and Scale: Design and develop scalable, resilient web applications end-to-end – with a focus on robust backend services in Node.js & TypeScript. You’ll own product development based on user feedback.
• Manage Cloud Infrastructure: Build CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, GitLab, or CircleCI) and production-ready Docker images to support fast, reliable deployments.
• Integrate AI & Agents: Implement and experiment with AI frameworks & protocols such as MCP and other ML/LLM tools to power intelligent features in our product.

Essential Experience – What We’re Looking For:

• 4+ years of experience in software development, including shipping production apps.
• Strong TypeScript skills and expertise with Node.js (building RESTful APIs) is key.
• Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure. You should be comfortable with deployment, scaling, and security in a cloud environment.
• Deep understanding of modern web architecture, including SQL/NoSQL databases, key-value stores like Redis, caching, authentication, REST APIs, micro-services, and message queues.
• Exposure to AI/ML frameworks – If you’ve played with MCP or similar AI integration tools, that’s a huge plus​.
• Ownership mindset – We need someone who can identify problems and solve them without waiting for detailed instructions.
• Tier 1 degree: You have proven your ability to be great and excel amongst your peers.

Nice to Have: (Not required, but will make us extra excited)

• Crypto/DeFi knowledge: All good if you have zero, we have a blockchain developer in our team.
• Startup / Founding team experience: If you’ve been an early employee or founding engineer before, great.
• Strong network: As we grow, we will be growing our team in Bangalore.
• You make magic happen: You have a high agency mindset and make the impossible happen.

Interview Process: Our interview process is a standardized test & git review, followed by a problem solving challenge and then in-person interview. The final three candidates will have a joint coding session with one of our advisors. After that, you will be offered a week paid working alongside us in person.
