We are currently expanding our team and looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer with experience in drone technology and Ground Control Systems (GCS).
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with a strong background in full-stack development and experience working in the drone or GCS domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing software solutions that integrate with UAVs, ground control stations, and mission-critical applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications for drone and GCS platforms.
- Develop and optimize front-end interfaces for mission planning, real-time telemetry, and command systems.
- Implement back-end logic for mission-critical applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Integrate UAV communication protocols, real-time data processing, and visualization frameworks.
- Work on APIs, cloud services, and databases to support drone operations and telemetry storage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, embedded systems developers, and AI specialists.
- Conduct rigorous testing, debugging, and performance optimization of applications.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in drone and defense technology.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in full-stack development.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (React, Angular, Vue.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Strong back-end development experience with Node.js, Python, Go, or similar languages.
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
- Knowledge of real-time data streaming, WebSockets, and MQTT protocols.
- Hands-on experience with drone software, UAV communication protocols (MAVLink, DDS, etc.), and GCS development.
- Experience working with GIS/mapping libraries such as OpenLayers, Leaflet, or CesiumJS.
- Cloud service expertise (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with mission planning software, simulation tools (Gazebo, PX4 SITL), or autopilot firmware (PX4, ArduPilot).
- Knowledge of AI/ML integration for UAV analytics.
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices in defense applications.
- Previous experience in defense, aerospace, or robotics industries.
