Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Laravel Developer to work on an ongoing, long-term project as part of a collaborative on-site team. As a Laravel Developer, you will be responsible for creating robust, scalable, and secure web applications using the Laravel framework. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Laravel and PHP development, along with the ability to work effectively in a team environment, efficiently merge code, and manage code uploads to version control systems.

Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and deploy Laravel-based web applications. Collaborate closely with other developers and team members to ensure smooth integration of server-side logic and front-end elements. Write clean, efficient, and reusable code, ensuring the best possible performance and user experience. Participate in code reviews, following best practices for version control and team collaboration. Merge code from multiple team members, resolve conflicts, and ensure smooth integration and deployment. Ensure the application is scalable, secure, and adheres to industry standards. Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance. Maintain and enhance existing applications to meet evolving project requirements. Work in an Agile environment, ensuring project deadlines are met. Write comprehensive documentation and provide support for other team members when needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong experience with PHP, Laravel, and modern web development practices. Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and platforms like GitHub or GitLab. Ability to merge code from multiple branches, resolve conflicts, and manage pull requests. Strong experience with MVC architecture and RESTful API design. Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (Vue.js or React knowledge is a plus). Familiarity with database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar), including writing optimized queries and migrations. Strong understanding of web security principles and best practices. Ability to write efficient, maintainable, and testable code. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.) and deployment tools. Good understanding of Agile development processes and tools (JIRA, Trello, etc.). Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on teamwork and knowledge sharing. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Skills: Knowledge of front-end JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js or React. Familiarity with testing frameworks like PHPUnit or Laravel Dusk. Experience with Docker or similar containerization technologies. Prior experience in working on large-scale projects.
